Give Thanks

Giving Thanks creates a spirit of generosity in your praise. What I mean by that, is praise flows easily and continually when we choose to thank God for His goodness rather than complain about our problems. The atmosphere of our heart is affected by thanksgiving. The more we give thanks, the more of heaven we feel. Thanklessness sucks the atmosphere of heaven out of the human heart. Thanklessness creates a stingy spirit.
We are commanded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in every circumstance. God commands us to be generous in our thanksgiving because giving thanks brings the atmosphere of heaven into our hearts. Don't you want heaven to fill your heart?  Is anyone weary of sharing your heart with hopelessness and despair? I believe that giving thanks is a behavior that if practiced allows us to host the presence of God and the atmosphere of heaven continually. Let's resolve to generously give thanks!
